Are you looking for similar authors or are you recommending these????

Phillip K Dick is an author ALWAYS worthy of reading. Forget that he's considered science fiction, he tended to use this as a framework for deep musings on religous, spiritual, metaphysical and psychological matters that ultimately transcend genre.

"Ubik" is a great place to start, with a dark wicked sense of humor (Spielburg was going to make it as a movie until Tom Cruise introduced him to Minority Report).

"Valis" is another great read, some truly mind-bending stuff.

The short stories are phenomenal, I just wish there was one or two decent volumes containing them all instead of tons with overlap. "Second Variety" and "A Little Something For Us Tempunauts" are excellent examples of his short story work.

And of course for the uninitiated, Blade Runner, Total Recall, A Scanner Darkly, The Adjustment Bureau, Next, Paycheck and Screamers (as well as the aforementioned Minority Report) were all movies based on his work.
